Weekly Weigh-in 2012 Week 2

January 15, 2012.

I weighed in today expecting the worst as I only got 2 of my 3 workouts in this week and my mid-week weigh in had me up in weight already. Today I climbed on the scale though and there was no change in weight at all since last Sunday. I did not gain, but I did not lose any either. That hasn't happened before.

Sadly I have to miss yoga this week with a change in work schedule. Looking forward to finally swimming though.

  2. Hi Amber! Well, I can tell that you and I are going to get along great! Every time I do a yoga pose that is very challenging for me, I'll think of you.

    Now, don't think that Chris is automatically going to be the only fitness fanatic in your household. I personally believe that a person has to be involved in a sport that fits their unique personality.

    Yoga will probably make you feel intelligent (just figuring out how to properly do the pose), persistent, artistic, and pretty. Give it about 6 months before you really judge yourself. By then, you'll probably be very impressed with how much you improved. Then, you'll want to get even better. :D

    It's very good that you are also practicing yoga by yourself too. I've taken yoga classes to learn technique, but I love to work on poses at my own pace too. And then I pick the music I like--stuff like Pitbull, Lady Gaga, etc... Make it what you want so that you can love it. <3
